Sana’a – The Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance at the University of Science and Technology (UST) held today, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, a workshop entitled “Review and Development of Job Performance Evaluation Policies and Manuals,” as part of the University’s efforts to enhance institutional performance efficiency in line with local and international institutional accreditation requirements.
The workshop aimed to update and develop job performance evaluation policies and manuals in accordance with best practices in quality assurance and accreditation, contributing to improved administrative performance efficiency and ensuring fairness and transparency in evaluation processes.
The workshop was attended by department directors and quality officers from the colleges, as well as representatives of the Female Students’ Branch. During the sessions, job performance evaluation forms were reviewed and discussed in detail, with participants providing observations and proposals for their development and the introduction of necessary amendments. These efforts are intended to enhance the effectiveness of the evaluation system and support continuous improvement.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Amin Al‑Kastaban, the University Secretary‑General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, and the Advisor to the University President, Dr. Huda Al‑Emad, who emphasized in their remarks the importance of developing evaluation policies as a fundamental pillar for achieving institutional excellence and fostering a culture of quality and adherence to accreditation standards.
