Sana’a – The Female Students’ Branch at the University of Science and Technology (UST) witnessed, on Sunday and Monday, April 5–6, 2026, the defense of graduation projects by female students of the Interior Design Program at the College of Engineering, in the presence of a select group of the College’s academics and a number of the students’ parents.

During the discussion sessions, the students presented their projects, which reflected a distinguished level of creativity and innovation in the field of interior design. The projects featured a variety of ideas, ranging from modern designs aligned with global developments to practical solutions that meet the needs of the local environment.
The discussion committee, chaired by Prof. Ali Al‑Qozi, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, with the membership of Prof. Mohammed Salam Al‑Madhaji and Dr. Mohammed Noaman, commended the quality of the submitted projects, affirming that they reflect an advanced academic standard and the clear efforts exerted by the students throughout the project preparation period.
The committee also praised the importance of the topics addressed, as well as the adopted design methodology, including the effective use of architectural elements, the precision in color selection, and the integration of the design concept with functional and aesthetic aspects. This, they noted, reflects an advanced level of professional awareness among the students and their readiness to enter the labor market with competence and confidence.
The discussions were attended by the project supervision committee, chaired by Dr. Bilal Al‑Dhabhani, with the membership of Eng. Sawsan Al‑Sanawi, Eng. Amani Al‑Hashdi, and Eng. Aroosh Al‑Masri, in addition to a number of faculty members at the College and the students’ parents.
