The program offers students the opportunity to obtain specialized diplomas and professional training courses designed to meet labor market demands in the following fields:

  2. Smart Device Application Development
  3. Mobile Programming and Maintenance
  4. Engineering Drawing and Computer Simulation
Additionally, the program supports a variety of scientific and student-centered activities, including:
  1. Organizing scientific days
  2. Hosting student project exhibitions
  3. Conducting departmental orientation events
  4. Receiving school visits
The UST Alumni Club aims to foster continuous engagement between the University’s graduates and its current students, building a professional network that facilitates knowledge exchange, supports career development, and strengthens graduates’ connection to the local and regional labor market.
The Club’s objectives include:
  1. Strengthening ties between the University and its graduates
  2. Supporting employment and training opportunities for students and alumni
  3. Organizing professional gatherings and alumni forums
  4. Leveraging alumni expertise to enhance academic programs
  5. Promoting institutional affiliation with the University of Science and Technology (UST)

Upon completing more than 70% of the credit-bearing courses required in the academic study plan, students become eligible to enroll in the Field Training Program offered throu various companies and institutions. The program aims to strengthen the applied dimension of learning and enable students to acquire practical experience aligned with the realities of the labor market.

The field training is organized through formal communication between the department and targeted institutions, followed by coordination to facilitate the student’s placement. Throughout the training period, the department monitors the student’s progress and maintains communication with the host organization. At the conclusion of the program, a comprehensive evaluation of the student’s performance is conducted to assess the extent to which the approved training outcomes have been achieved.
This program constitutes one of the essential pillars in preparing graduates who are academically and professionally qualified, and capable of meeting labor market requirements with high levels of competence and professionalism.
