University of Science and Technology, Hudaidah Branch Celebrates Graduation of “Technology and Architecture” Cohort

Hudaidah — The University of Science and Technology, Hudaidah Branch, on Monday celebrated the graduation of a distinguished group of its students in the Information Technology and Architectural Engineering specializations for the academic year 2025–2026.

During the ceremony, the Director of the University Branch, Dr. Mohammed Qaid Al-Laima, congratulated the graduates on reaching this pivotal moment in their academic lives, paving the way for joining the labor market.

He praised the students’ efforts and their keenness on academic achievement and the acquisition of scientific and professional knowledge despite the difficult conditions the country is passing through.

He affirmed that the graduation of this cohort represents the fruit of the University’s efforts in preparing qualified national cadres capable of keeping pace with and effectively contributing to the development process and nation-building, noting that technical and engineering specializations have today become a fundamental pillar in supporting the national economy amid rapid transformations in the fields of technology, construction, and reconstruction.

He said: “We at the University of Science and Technology are working to modernize academic programs, keep pace with scientific developments, and link them to labor market requirements, with the aim of preparing graduates who possess the skills and expertise that enable them to compete at the local and regional levels.”

He pointed out that the University Branch in Hudaidah is keen to create an attractive educational environment and provide practical training opportunities for students, based on its belief that building and educating people is the true bet for the nation’s future.

Meanwhile, the speech of the graduates of the “Technology and Architecture” cohort expressed thanks and appreciation to the Branch Administration and faculty members for the academic and practical qualification they provided during their studies.

Affirming their pride in belonging to the University of Science and Technology, and employing what they have gained from sciences and knowledge in serving society and contributing to advancing development in various fields.

The ceremony, attended by the Director of the Branch of the University of the Holy Quran and Academic Sciences, Zaid Al-Kahlani, the Financial and Administrative Director of the University Branch, Dr. Ahmed Abdulkhaliq, the Head of the Information Technology Department, Engineer Mohammed Bameshmous, the Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, Dr. Walid Al-Hakami, and a number of faculty members and parents of the graduates, included expressive performances, and honoring of the Branch Administration and the staff of the two departments in recognition of their efforts, and the graduates, numbering 39 male and female students.
