Sana’a – The University of Science and Technology (UST) implemented a number of high-quality free specialized training courses targeting high school students and graduates, as well as university students and alumni, as part of its efforts to develop scientific and practical skills and enhance youth readiness for the labor market.
The training programs included a wide range of courses in the medical field, such as clinical medical skills, first aid, and interpretation of radiological images, in addition to pharmacy skills development. They also covered various engineering, computing, and technical disciplines, including artificial intelligence, data analysis, digital video editing, cybersecurity, maintenance and calibration of medical equipment, and the design and installation of solar energy systems, among other specialized courses across different fields. These programs were delivered by a select group of academics and specialists.
The courses aimed to provide participants with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills aligned with scientific, technological, and technical developments, thereby contributing to the enhancement of their academic and professional competencies and raising the efficiency of students and graduates across various disciplines.
