The Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance at UST organized today, Tuesday, 3 March 2026, a training workshop entitled “Automating the Self‑Study Report for Programs Submitted for Accreditation.” The workshop targeted six academic programs: Software Engineering, Sharia and Law, Clinical Pharmacy, Medical Laboratories, Radiological Technology, and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics.
The workshop was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Mohammed Abdullatif Al‑Sharjabi, who presented methodologies for automating the preparation of self‑study reports and highlighted their role in improving the efficiency of data documentation and indicator analysis. He emphasized that automation contributes to enhancing the accuracy of reports and expediting their completion in accordance with academic accreditation standards.
This workshop forms part of the Deanship’s ongoing efforts to fulfill the accreditation requirements for the six programs and to strengthen a culture of quality and continuous improvement. These efforts support the development of academic performance and reinforce UST’s commitment to institutional excellence.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Amin Al‑Kustuban; the University President’s Advisor for Accreditation and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Huda Al‑Emad; in addition to a number of officials and faculty members from the targeted programs.
