في أجواء مليئة بالحماس والتنافس، نظم قسم اللغة الإنجليزية يوم الاحد الموافق 26/1/2025م مسابقة لطالبات المستوى الثاني في كتابة المقالات المتقدمة بمختلف أنواعها، حيث أظهرت خلالها الطالبات مهارات متميزة في الكتابة المتقدمة.
في البداية، تم تقسيم طالبات المستوى الثاني إلى ست مجموعات فرعية، وكُلِّفَت كل مجموعة بكتابة نوع معين من المقالات: الوصفي، السردي، المقارنة والتباين، الأسباب والنتائج، وأخيرًا الجدلي.
ثم تم إعطاء المجموعات أسبوعًا للاستعداد لكتابة المقالات المختارة، حيث شارك الجميع بفاعلية في عملية الكتابة وتعاونوا فيما بينهم.
وفي يوم المسابقة، قدَّمت الطالبات عروضًا رائعة لمقالاتهم أمام أساتذة القسم الذين قيَّموا أداء الطالبات في مهاراتي الكتابة والتحدث واختاروا المجموعة الفائزة.
في النهاية، أظهرت جميع المجموعات قدرات استثنائية وفهمًا عميقًا لكتابة أنواع المقالات المختلفة، حيث أبدعوا وتألقوا وأبدوا تعاونًا كبيرًا وحماسًا منقطع النظير للتميّز والفوز. وبكل فخر، فازت مجموعة المقال الوصفي بالمركز الأول، حيث قدَّموا وصفًا دقيقًا، مؤثرًا ومتميّزًا ليحيى السنوار.
In a highly enthusiastic and competitive atmosphere, the English Department held a writing competition entitled ” The Masters of Essay Writing Contest” in which level 2 students showcased their splendid skills in writing advanced essays of all types.
Initially, both Level 2 groups were divided into 6
sub-groups, and each category was assigned to write one type of essay, including descriptive, narrative, comparison and contrast, classification, cause-and-effect and argumentative.
Subsquently, the 6 sub-groups were given a week before to prepare their selected essays, participating actively in the writing process of their essays and collaborating with one another.
On the day of the competition, all the sub-groups competed with each other while presenting their essay- writing journeys. At the same time, students’ performances both in writing and speaking were evaluated by the department’s professors.
Finally, students of all groups demonstrated their outstanding abilities and profound understanding of writing the various types essays. They were all brilliant, creative and skillful in their performances, as well as highly cooperative with each other and deeply motivated to excel and win. Proudly, the .descriptive essay group was the winners among all who described Yahya Al-Sinwar in an emotional, accurate and exceptional manner.
