The agreements included Azal University for Human Development, represented by its President Prof. Mohammed Al-Aqeeli; International University of Technology Twintech, represented by its President Prof. Hani Al-Aghbari; Knowledge and Modern Sciences University, represented by its President Prof. Mohammed Ali Mahdi; and Iqra University, represented by its President Prof. Ashraf Al-Kabsi.
The signing ceremony took place at UST headquarters in the presence of a number of academic and administrative leaders from both sides. University presidents emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships that contribute to the development of academic and research programs and keep pace with scientific and technological advancements, in a manner that serves higher education outcomes and meets development needs.
Both parties explained that these agreements will open new horizons for cooperation in implementing joint academic and research programs, exchanging expertise, and launching scientific initiatives that contribute to community service and enhance the quality of higher education.
The agreements stipulate cooperation in several scientific and academic fields, most notably the exchange of faculty members and researchers, the implementation of joint research projects, the exchange of expertise in curriculum and academic program development, the organization of conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops, the exchange of scientific publications, and the implementation of training programs aimed at developing the capacities of academic and administrative staff.
These agreements come within the framework of UST and its partner universities’ commitment to consolidating academic cooperation, strengthening integration among higher education institutions, and developing scientific partnerships that support innovation and creativity. This, in turn, contributes to improving the quality of academic and research outputs and advancing sustainable development goals in the fields of education and knowledge.
