يتميز قسم علوم الحاسوب ببيئة بحثية متطورة، ويركز على تطوير بحوث أصيلة ذات أثر علمي وتطبيقي في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي، الأمن السيبراني، والأنظمة الذكية. وتنتظم اهتمامات القسم البحثية ضمن المسارات الآتية:
أولاً: مسار الذكاء الاصطناعي وعلوم البيانات
تطوير نماذج وخوارزميات ذكية لاستخلاص المعرفة وبناء أنظمة قادرة على التعلم واتخاذ القرار.

حماية البنى التحتية الرقمية وتأمين الأنظمة الذكية مع تطوير حلول متقدمة للتهديدات السيبرانية.

بنية تحتية تقنية متطورة وبيئة تعليمية ذكية مصممة للمستقبل
تضم كلية الحاسبات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات بنية تحتية تقنية متطورة وبيئة تعليمية ذكية صُممت خصيصاً لتلبية متطلبات التخصصات التقنية الحديثة، وتشمل المرافق التالية:
1. القاعات الدراسية الذكيةتضم الكلية قاعات دراسية ذكية مجهزة بأحدث تقنيات العرض التفاعلي، وشاشات عالية الدقة (High Resolution)، وأنظمة إضاءة وتهوية مدروسة لتوفير بيئة تعليمية مريحة تساعد الطلاب على التركيز والاستيعاب. 2. معامل الحاسوب العامةتحتوي الكلية على سلسلة من معامل الحاسوب المزودة بأجهزة ذات كفاءة عالية ومواصفات تقنية متقدمة، تعمل بأحدث نظم التشغيل والبرمجيات التخصصية التي يحتاجها الطلاب في مختلف المستويات الدراسية. |
