Sana’a – The Scientific Club at the University of Science and Technology (UST), in collaboration with the Faculty of Pharmacy, has concluded a series of free specialized pharmaceutical training courses targeting high school graduates, university students, and graduates.
This initiative aimed to enhance participants’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills, while bridging the gap between academic learning and the requirements of the pharmaceutical and medical labor market.
The training program witnessed strong engagement from students and graduates, focusing on three key specialized areas:
- Pharmaceutical Skills Development: Strengthening the foundations of proper antibiotic dispensing, raising awareness of the risks associated with misuse, and guiding patients safely.
- Industrial Pharmacy: Introducing pharmaceutical production lines and modern technologies used in drug manufacturing and dosage form formulation.
- Therapeutic Interactions: Examining drug-drug and drug-food interactions to ensure safe and error-free healthcare delivery.
At the conclusion of the program, the Deanship of the Faculty of Pharmacy commended the efforts of the Scientific Club in organizing and coordinating these high-quality courses, reaffirming the University’s commitment to continuing such initiatives that contribute to community service and the qualification of human resources.
