The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology is one of the UST premier colleges. It was established by early academic year 2011/2012. It was an extension for the department of computer sciences and information technology to meet the needs of the local and regional labor market. The college is an active member in the association of computing and information faculties, branching out of the Federation of Arab Universities as it is also a member of its executive committee. The college has highly competent teaching staff and conducive learning environment to help students attain their knowledge and complete projects according to the latest global hardware and software programs.

Mission

The mission of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Yemen is resting on the preparation of efficient specialists in the disciplines of computer programming, engineering, technology and information systems domestically and regionally, and in accordance with comprehensive quality systems, ethical and professional requirements, contribution to community service through continuing education programs,  and conduct scientific researches that contribute to solve problems of engineering and information entities through efficient specialized staff and excellent learning environment.

Objectives: 

  • Provide the local and regional markets with efficient cadres and experiences
  • To be a total bridge of communication and cooperation and scientific research with the local businesses.
  • Aspire to build partnerships and cooperation with the institutions of society.

3- BSc. in Cybersecurity and Networks

4- BSc. in Computer Science

5- Master of Computing- Networks Track, Software Engineering Track, Computer Science Track, and Business Information  Systems Track)

  • Information Technology Department 

1- BSc. in Information Technology (Two programs Arabic and English)

2- BSc. in Information Technology in English Language (BIT)

3- Bachelor of Graphic Design and Multimedia

  • Information Systems Department 

1- BSc. in Information Systems – Business Intelligence.

2- BSc. in Information Systems – E Business.

3- BSc. in Information Systems – Management Information Systems.
