Sana’a – The Female Students Branch at the University of Science and Technology (UST) in Sana’a witnessed, on Sunday and Monday, April 5–6, 2026, the discussion of graduation projects by female students of the Interior Design Program at the Faculty of Engineering, in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty members and several parents of the students.
During the sessions, the students showcased projects that reflected a remarkable level of creativity and innovation in the field of interior design. The ideas ranged from contemporary designs aligned with global trends to practical solutions addressing local environmental needs.
The discussion committee, comprising Prof. Ali Al-Qawzi, Head of the Architectural Engineering Department, along with Prof. Mohammed Salam Al-Madhhaji and Dr. Mohammed Noaman, commended the quality of the projects presented, affirming that they demonstrate an advanced academic standard and the significant efforts invested by the students during the preparation phase.
The committee also praised the relevance of the project topics and the design methodologies adopted, including the effective use of architectural elements, precise color selection, and the integration of design concepts with both functional and aesthetic aspects. This, they noted, reflects a high level of professional awareness among the students and their readiness to engage efficiently in the labor market.
The discussions were attended by the project supervision committee, chaired by Dr. Bilal Al-Dhabhani, with members Engineer Sawsan Al-Sanwi, Engineer Amani Al-Hashdi, and Engineer Aroosh Al-Masri, in addition to a number of faculty members and the students’ parents.
