The Department of Sharia and Law at UST seeks to provide distinguished educational and consultative services in the fields of Sharia and Law through a specialized academic staff and advanced programs and curricula that meet the needs of society and the requirements of the labor market at the local and regional levels, employing the latest teaching methodologies in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
The Department of Sharia and Law aspires to achieve leadership and excellence at the local and regional levels in the fields of Sharia and legal sciences.
  1. To enable students to acquire a solid foundation of essential knowledge in the fields of Sharia and legal sciences, qualifying them to work in various legal professions.
  2. To create an appropriate academic environment that fosters creativity in Sharia and legal sciences, contributing to the graduation of competent and well-trained cadres capable of professionally practicing legal and Sharia-related work.
  3. To develop the analytical, research, and intellectual skills of Sharia and Law students in a manner that supports scientific research within the field of specialization.
  4. To establish a strong linkage between theoretical study and practical application, ensuring that educational outcomes are effectively utilized in real-world legal practice.
