Sana’a – The University of Science and Technology (UST) held a workshop today entitled “Review and Development of the Job Performance Evaluation Policy and Guidelines,” as a continuation of a previous workshop bearing the same title. This comes as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance efficiency and elevate the quality of the work environment.

The workshop aimed to complete the review of the current job performance evaluation policies and to develop related guidelines and procedures in line with best practices, quality standards, and academic accreditation requirements, in a manner that contributes to achieving fairness and transparency and improving productivity levels.
The workshop was facilitated by Prof. Amin Al-Kastaban, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance at UST, who presented key aspects of developing performance evaluation systems and mechanisms for improving them to support institutional decision-making based on competence and achievement.
The workshop witnessed notable engagement from participants through discussions and interventions that focused on ways to develop evaluation tools and achieve integration between individual and institutional objectives.
This workshop falls within the University’s strategic direction to develop its administrative and academic systems and to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, contributing to the achievement of institutional excellence.
