The program aims to prepare graduates who are academically and professionally competent, equipped with deep technical knowledge and strong practical skills that meet the needs of both local and regional labor markets. This is achieved within a stimulating learning environment supported by advanced laboratories and a specialized academic faculty.
The program follows a credit hour system, with a study duration of four years (8 academic semesters plus a field training semester), according to the official study plan. Students complete a total of 138 credit hours, providing a strong scientific foundation and real practical experience that enable them to enter the technology sector with confidence.

The Information Technology Program at the University of Science and Technology seeks to prepare distinguished graduates scientifically and professionally, equipped with knowledge and skills in the specialization, as well as skills in scientific research and continuing education to keep pace with technical progress and meet the requirements of the labor market and social responsibility through a stimulating educational environment, efficient staff, developed curriculum, and modern laboratories, in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.

A1. Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate concepts, theories, mathematical foundations, models, and techniques related to the Information technology discipline.
A2. Identify the desired computing needs for different computer-based systems, components, processes, and human factors, as well as considering them during the selection, integration, and administration technologies to meet the organization’s goals.
B – Intellectual Skills:
B1 Propose and integrate appropriate information technology-based solutions according to the user and organization environment.
B2. Analyze the impacts of computing on organizational goals and customer needs, and factor them into the various analytical aspects.
B3. Integrate computing products and services to improve the performance of secured computational solutions.

C – Professional and Practical Skills:
C1. Employ the conceptual computation approaches and systems, communication and modern technologies efficiently for the problem-solving process.

Students are granted the Bachelor’s degree upon completion of the following requirements:
- Successful completion of all courses required for graduation in the study plan (138 credit hours), with a minimum grade of 50% in each course.
- Fulfillment of the minimum study duration for the degree and not exceeding the maximum period allowed for graduation as stipulated in the academic regulations of the credit‑hour system.
- Transfer students must complete no less than 50% of the total required credit hours for graduation according to the approved study plan at the time of their admission, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
- Completion of field training requirements.
- Completion of the graduation project requirements.
- Attendance rate may not be less than 75%.
