  • The study plan for the Bachelor of International Business program consists of 138 credit hours.

The International Business Administration Program was established in the academic year 2011/2012 and operates under the Department of Administrative Sciences. The program has undergone two major development phases: the first in 2013 and the second in 2024, in accordance with sound scientific foundations and international benchmarks.

The development process involved the participation of key stakeholders, including employers, graduates, experts, and specialists, as well as a number of faculty members specialized in Business Administration and International Business. The program was developed in line with the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS) issued by the Academic Accreditation Council of the Republic of Yemen.
The program is delivered by a distinguished group of specialized professors and lecturers, and it is offered under the credit hour system, which provides students with flexibility in planning their academic workload during each academic semester.
The International Business Administration Program seeks to prepare and qualify distinguished competencies in the field of international business administration at the local, regional, and international levels, in a manner that meets labor market needs and contributes to sustainable development. This is achieved through an advanced curriculum, a qualified academic staff, and a stimulating educational and research environment, as well as effective partnerships, in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation requirements.

Knowledge and Understanding

Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:
A1: Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts, theories, and models of International Business Administration.
A2: Identify the economic, political, legal, technological, social, and cultural concepts related to International Business Administration.
A3: Describe the fields of activity of business organizations, their functions, objectives, organizational structures, and operating mechanisms within different international environments.


Intellectual Skills
Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:
B1: Discuss local, regional, and international variables affecting business organizations.
B2: Analyze the performance of international business organizations in light of social responsibility, business ethics, and cultural diversity.
B3: Propose appropriate solutions to the problems faced by business organizations in view of local, regional, and international variables.


Professional and Practical Skills
Upon completion of the program, the student will be able to:
C1: Use scientific methods in making decisions related to business organizations in accordance with local and international agreements and legislation.
C2: Prepare strategies, plans, and policies for business organizations operating in various international environments.
C3: Employ information technology and modern techniques to achieve the objectives of international business organizations.

  • Successful completion of all program credit hours (132 credit hours).
  • Completion of the Graduation Project.

  • Achieving a minimum cumulative grade of 50%.
