Sana’a – The President of the University of Science and Technology (UST) in Sana’a, Prof. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas, met with students from various colleges and academic levels in an expanded meeting to discuss key student-related issues, most notably the exam automation project.

During the meeting, Prof. Abbas highlighted that the exam automation project is a major step within the university’s digital transformation efforts, aimed at improving the quality of education, enhancing integrity and transparency in academic assessment, and increasing institutional efficiency.

The meeting also provided an open platform for students to raise questions and share feedback on a range of academic and service-related issues. The UST President reaffirmed the university’s commitment to listening to students’ concerns and addressing them through ongoing development and improvement plans.

Emphasizing that students are central to the educational process, Prof. Abbas stressed the importance of student participation in shaping and improving the university’s learning environment.

The meeting saw positive engagement from students, who commended the university leadership for strengthening direct communication channels and responding to their needs and aspirations.

The meeting was attended by college deans, the leadership of the female students’ branch, along with a number of academic and administrative officials.
