Sana’a – Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Hassan Al-Saadi, visited the University of Science and Technology on Monday, November 24, 2025, to review academic progress and inspect the university’s e-learning facilities.
During the tour, the Minister examined laboratories and digital learning infrastructure at the Deanship of E-Learning, including the educational studio and virtual classrooms. University President Dr. Al-Qasim Mohammed Abbas briefed him on the university’s e-learning programs, admission standards, and future projects.
Al-Saadi later chaired a meeting with university leaders to discuss challenges and strategies for improvement. He praised the institution’s resilience and its role in maintaining educational continuity despite difficult national circumstances.
“The visit aims to strengthen the factors behind the university’s success—its leadership and dedicated staff,” Al-Saadi said, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to supporting both public and private universities to safeguard educational quality.
Dr. Abbas welcomed the visit, calling it “a strong motivator for the university’s leadership and staff to enhance services and maintain its leading position locally and regionally.
