Sana’a – Fifth-year students from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology (UST) carried out a field visit on Monday, November 17, 2025, to the Sunrise Center for Autism, Childhood Disabilities, Early Intervention, and Speech Therapy.
The visit was part of the college’s practical and community outreach activities aimed at strengthening students’ social engagement and applied skills.
During the visit, students provided preliminary oral health screenings for children at the center and offered awareness sessions on dental care. They also shared guidance with staff on best practices for maintaining oral health among children with autism and special needs.
This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to promoting humanitarian and social responsibility among its students, enhancing their hands-on experience, and raising public awareness about the health needs of vulnerable groups.
