On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the Internship Program at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Science and Technology in Sana’a held a scientific training day titled “The Fundamentals and Art of Cosmetic Composite for Anterior Teeth.” The event was organized in collaboration with Dided Pharmaceutical and Medical Supplies, the official agent of Shofu—Japan’s leading company in dental cosmetic technologies.
The four-hour scientific lecture was delivered by Dr. Ammar Al-Arouli, who covered key principles and practical techniques for applying composite materials to anterior teeth. His presentation combined modern scientific insights with hands-on applications, showcasing the latest Japanese tools and technologies used in this field.
The scientific program targeted internship students from the 2025 and 2026 cohorts, as part of the faculty’s strategy to enhance students’ practical and professional readiness before graduation, and to familiarize them with global advancements and market trends in cosmetic dentistry.
This activity was part of a series of scientific events organized by the faculty for internship students, aimed at preparing highly qualified and distinguished professionals in the field of dentistry.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Joufi, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; Dr. Nassar Issa, Internship Program Coordinator; Mr. Rafiq Al-Sharmani, Head of Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Faculty; and Mr. Abduljabbar Al-Moayyad, Deputy Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
